COMPANY POLICIES & LEGAL

Transparent guidelines governing our services and your rights.

1. Shipping, Insurance, and Liability

Effective Date: 1 Jan 2024

A. General Carrier Liability

Our standard liability for loss or damage to goods is limited to $250 USD or the cost of repair/replacement, whichever is less, unless additional insurance is purchased. This limit applies to all shipments where declared value protection is not selected.

B. Declared Value and Insurance

Customers have the option to declare a higher value for their shipments. This declared value is not insurance, but it increases the maximum liability limit. Full insurance coverage is available at a rate of 1% of the declared value (minimum premium applies) and must be requested prior to pickup.

C. Claims Process

All claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 14 calendar days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date). Failure to meet this deadline will result in the denial of the claim. Required documentation includes the original invoice, packing list, and photos of the damage.

2. Prohibited & Restricted Items List

For safety, security, and compliance with international law, the following items are strictly prohibited for carriage:

  • Explosives, firearms, and ammunition.
  • Illegal narcotics and controlled substances.
  • Perishable items requiring temperature control outside of pre-approved Cold Chain agreements.
  • Cash, negotiable instruments, and un-mounted precious stones/metals.
  • Live animals (unless special permits and service agreements are in place).

*Note: It is the shipper's responsibility to ensure compliance with all origin, transit, and destination country laws. Failure to disclose prohibited goods may result in shipment seizure and fines.
